Wow, what a way to kick off the dual meet season! Thank you to everyone for making it such a fun experience, and a big shout out to everyone helping in the bullpen.
A note about weather: we hold meets in rain but not when there is lightning. If there are any delays or changes we'll communicate them immediately through the REMIND app. Please be sure you've joined the Barracudas group. Always assume the meet is on unless told otherwise.
📍 Location
Cress Creek Commons Pool - 1020 W Bauer Rd, Naperville, IL 60563. Park only in designated areas in the Cobras pool lot or along the street. Parking is never permitted on the grass around the pool.
🏊 Timeline
- Gates open: 4:30 PM
- Positive check-in deadline: 4:45 PM
- Warm-ups: 4:45 PM (6 & Under and 7-8 first)
- Team huddle & cheers: 5:15-5:20 PM
- Meet starts: 5:30 PM
Medley relays
Swimmers in events 3 & 4, please be at the bullpen no later than 5:20 PM for warm-ups. The order of the medley relay is always: Back → Breast → Fly → Free.
📝 Don't forget
Write your swimmer's event numbers on their hands/arms before leaving the house. We'll have blue clipboards at check-in showing names and event numbers. Remember that relays can change last-minute due to scratches. Bring: swimsuit, cap, goggles, towels, sunscreen, dry clothes, tent/blanket, SHARPIES, and flashlights for evening meets!
